Will I be covered if I travel to Canada or Mexico?
When you’re traveling to Canada, yes we will cover your RV and regular auto policy just the same as if you were driving in the US.
If you’re traveling to Mexico, we’ll cover you within 25 miles of the U.S-Mexico border and for no longer than 10 days. If you need to stay in Mexico for longer or plan to travel further, we can arrange coverage for you with our partner insurance company located in Mexico.
How much does RV insurance cost?
The cost is determined by several factors that include your usage, driving history, and then the value of the RV itself. The value of the RV is based on the make, model, and year of the vehicle.
Should I buy year-round RV insurance or off season?
You have the option of carrying “storage-only” insurance during the offseason. You’ll be protected from things like theft, vandalism, falling objects, weather, and animals.
It does not cover damage from the collision. Therefore, in the instance that your RV will be surrounded by other RVs, boats, cars, campers, and so on, you may be in a collision incident in which you wouldn’t be covered. In this case, you should have year-round, full coverage.
